IP & Copyright Policy

You retain all rights you hold in the stock lists, RFQs, documents, images, messages and other material you submit ("Member Content"). You must have all necessary rights, consents and authority to submit it, including where it originates from your customers or suppliers.

You grant ChipTrades a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting, parse, process, display and transmit your Member Content for the limited purpose of operating, securing, supporting and improving the platform — including publishing it to other members as your chosen visibility settings require, and generating anonymous RFQs, matches and aggregated market intelligence.

This licence lasts as long as we retain the content in accordance with our Privacy Policy and does not give us the right to sell your content as a standalone product.

The ChipTrades name, branding, interface, design, code, database structure and features are owned by ChipTrades. You may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, scrape or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Manufacturer and brand names are used purely to identify components and for search purposes. Their use does not imply endorsement, authorisation or affiliation.

Send copyright or other IP complaints to sales@chiptrades.com with:

• Your name, company and contact details.
• Identification of the work or right you say has been infringed.
• The specific ChipTrades content or URL concerned.
• A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.

We will review valid notices, may remove or restrict the content, and may notify the member who posted it so they can respond. Repeat infringers may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
