ChipTrades Terms of Service

ChipTrades is a professional broker-to-broker semiconductor and electronic components trading platform. We provide a marketplace for verified professional brokers to connect, share stock availability and post requests for quotation. ChipTrades is an introduction platform only.

ChipTrades is exclusively for professional semiconductor brokers, traders and electronic components distributors acting on behalf of registered businesses. End customers, engineers, hobbyists and private individuals are not eligible for membership. By registering you confirm you are a professional broker or trader.

ChipTrades is an introduction and communication platform only. We are not a party to any transaction, sale, purchase or agreement made between brokers on this platform. ChipTrades accepts no liability whatsoever for:

• The quality, authenticity or condition of any components traded through the platform
• Payment disputes between brokers
• Non-delivery of goods
• Counterfeit or misrepresented components
• Loss of profit or business
• Any commercial dispute between platform users

All transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers at their own risk. Brokers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence on trading partners, verifying stock authenticity and agreeing their own terms of business.

Brokers must only post stock they have available or can genuinely source. Posting fictitious, unavailable or misleading stock listings is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension. ChipTrades reserves the right to remove any listing at any time.

Buyers may post requests for quotation anonymously. ChipTrades will never reveal buyer identity to sellers without the buyer's explicit consent. Sellers must not attempt to identify anonymous buyers through any means.

All broker accounts are subject to verification and approval by ChipTrades. We reserve the right to reject any application without providing a reason. Approved accounts may be suspended or terminated at any time for violation of these terms.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Posting fake or unavailable stock listings
• Misrepresenting component specifications, condition or origin
• Spam messaging other brokers
• Attempting to identify anonymous buyers
• Creating multiple accounts
• Sharing account credentials
• Using the platform for any purpose other than professional semiconductor trading
• Circumventing the platform to avoid subscription fees after making initial contact

ChipTrades retains historic trading data including past stock listings and RFQ activity permanently as platform intelligence. This data is anonymised where required and used to provide sourcing intelligence to platform users. By using the platform you consent to this data retention.

All platform content, design, features and functionality are owned by ChipTrades. Users may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

Access to ChipTrades requires a valid subscription. Subscription is free of charge for the trial period — we will contact you via email once this is due to expire.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law ChipTrades shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or any transactions conducted through it. Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the user in the preceding 3 months.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts.

ChipTrades reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes by in-app notification. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
